Even though Worms do good work for your soil, as they aerate it and improve nutrient content, it is when they come to the surface, usually in late Autumn or early Winter, that they will leave casts on the surface of your lawn.
Worm Casts on your lawn not only look unsightly but they can kill off the grass underneath and leave an area for development of weeds if not dealt with.
Worms are also great food for Moles and Moles can devastate a lawn, so it is important to reduce the risk of Mole infestation by controlling the population of Worms in your lawn.
