Are you thinking of starting a business in Coventry?
With a Lawnscience franchise, you can run a successful lawn care company with the backing of a trusted brand and a proven business model. Whether you want to escape the 9–5, enjoy flexible working hours, or create a scalable company, Lawnscience is here to help.

Lawn care involves a combination of treatments designed to keep grass healthy, green, and free of weeds. Our service includes fertilisation, moss and weed control, aeration, scarification, and overseeding, plus soil improvement techniques that build long-term resilience. In Coventry, where summers can be dry, we adjust our fertiliser programmes and overseeding schedules to keep lawns healthy despite drought stress.

People who do well in a lawn care business are hands-on and enjoy working outside in all seasons. They take pride in transforming a lawn and love seeing the difference their work makes. The best operators stay organised, plan their schedules efficiently, and maintain their tools in great condition. They are friendly and approachable, clearly explaining each treatment and following up to ensure customers are pleased with the results. Having an interest in turf and soil health helps, as does a willingness to keep learning and an eye for opportunities to secure repeat work and ongoing contracts.
You don’t need to come in with any experience — we provide full training in all areas of turf care, including identifying lawn problems, applying treatments safely, aerating compacted soil, scarifying to remove thatch, and overseeding to repair thin patches. We also teach you the business side: how to price and quote with confidence, plan efficient daily routes, use our CRM system, and run local marketing that brings in inquiries. You’ll start with a clear step-by-step launch plan, professional marketing materials, and ongoing phone support whenever you need it. What matters most is your attitude — being practical, organised, confident with customers, and happy to work outside.
