Over Seeding

Lawn looking thin and patchy? An application of quality lawn seed will improve the way your lawn looks.

Call your local Lawnscience professional to find out how seeding can improve your lawn. Over time lawns become thin, it may be due to excessive wear or as a result of insect or fungal attack. This is when an application of seed into the current lawn can make a difference.

Lawnscience has an extensive range of seed mixtures to complement and improve your lawn. First, one of our trained professionals will access the reason for the over-seed. If your lawn has a shade issue we recommend a seed mixture that will be more tolerant to shady conditions. If you need a lawn that is more resilient, to cope with younger children we recommend a seed mixture that tolerates heavy traffic. If you just want to improve the look of your lawn we have a range of premium mixtures that will add new life to your lawn.

Our lawn overseeding treatments are normally carried out after the lawn is scarified in Spring or Autumn. You can read more about the benefits of Scarification here
