Soil Conditioner

Lawn Soil Conditioner

If you want to help your lawn look its best, then you need to look after the grass root zone by regularly applying a soil conditioner.

The condition and efficiency of your lawn’s roots play a major role in the health and appearance of your lawn. Remember it is your lawn’s root system that is responsible for extracting from the soil all the nutrients that the plant needs to survive and thrive. therefore keeping your root system healthy by a regular application of a soil conditioner is good practice.

The soil conditioner we use at Lawnscience is based upon a seaweed extract. Scientific studies have identified seaweed extracts to have several measurable beneficial effects on a plants growth. Including:

  • Early seed germination
  • enhanced quality of vegetative growth
  • elevated resistance to biotic and abiotic stress

As part of your premium lawn treatment programme we regularly apply soil conditioners to your lawn.

Regular application of a lawn soil conditioner will feed the billions of beneficial bacteria that exist within the root zone.  As a result, this will increase the microbial population. These microbes improve nutrient turnover which leads to a significant increase in root mass.

An added benefit is the reduction in the effectiveness of pathogenic soil fungi which can be harmful to the health of your lawn.

The RHS is the world's leading gardening charity.

Lawnscience supports the RHS by annual charitable donations

If you think your lawn would benefit from a lawn conditioner, why not take advantage of the Lawnscience lawn review service.
