Wasps in Lawns

Wasps in Lawn

Wasps in lawns can be very dangerous especially when there are children playing nearby.

They can also cause problems if you like to eat outdoors. Adult wasps eat a sweet substance produced by younger wasps, as these wasps mature the supply of the sweet substance reduces and the adult wasps have to go in search of other sweet things to satisfy their craving. This is the reason why you will find wasps making a nuisance of themselves when you are eating and drinking outdoor.

Attempting to kill a wasp’s nest in the garden can be highly dangerous because wasps are territorial and will attack anyone or anything that they see as a threat. Their main defence system it their sting and they will not think twice about attacking you or your children if they believe there is a threat to them or their nest.

But there’s no need to worry Lawnscience has fully trained and experienced technicians who can quickly rid your home and garden of wasps. All you have to do is to call the number at the top of this page or fill in your details in the form on the right and we’ll contact you.

We offer a flexible treatment schedule and can normally arrange a same day visit.

Our wasp treatments are fully guaranteed to be completely effective because we use the finest insecticides available to the professional market. Once we have treated a wasp nest it extremely rare for the wasps to return, but if they do within 6 months, we re-treat free of charge.
