Pest Control

Don’t let lawn pests destroy the look of your lawn.  Lawnscience will provide you with lawn pest control service to make sure your lawn doesn’t look like this…

The Leatherjacket and Chafer Grub are two insects that can live in the soil beneath lawns. They both cause extensive damage by eating the root system of the infected lawn, killing the grass completely. Lawn pest control is essential to keep your lawn healthy and beautiful.

An effective prevention strategy is to apply the appropriate insecticide to your lawn prior to the damage being caused.

The initial signs of an infestation are an increase in bird and wildlife activity on the lawn as birds and wildlife feed on the insects.  When the infestation worsens, straw patches can be seen in the lawn as the grass dies.

The other three pests that can cause damage by the soil mounds which they create on the lawn’s surface are wormsants, and Moles.

Wasps will build their nests in lawns, garden buildings, and on the exterior of houses.  Our lawn pest professionals are fully trained in the control of Wasps and other nuisance pests.*

Part of the Lawnscience lawn care service involves essential Lawn Pest Management for our customer’s lawns.  We will inspect your lawn for any potential insect damage during each visit.

If you are concerned that your lawn might be suffering from insect damage, don’t hesitate to contact us. Take advantage of the Lawnscience lawn review service. One of our fully trained lawn care professionals will be happy to arrange your free lawn review.  During the review, they will identify any issue(s) and provide you with a fully costed solution for you to consider.
